These terms govern your use of Dawnvane. Please read them before purchasing a Book, a conversation pack, or a Temple reading pack.

1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, using Dawnvane, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
2. Your account and profile
You are responsible for your account and for reviewing birth date, time, place, and gender before requesting generation. A nickname is optional and may be used to address you in Books and conversations. Do not submit another person's information, including in questions or Book notes, without lawful authority and their permission.
3. What Dawnvane provides
Dawnvane provides deterministic Bazi charting; AI-assisted written Books (the Book of You, the Book of Time for a chosen year, and the Book of Counsel); one-answer-at-a-time conversations grounded in chart facts and reviewed knowledge; and Temple readings, in which a hexagram is drawn for your question and interpreted with traditional texts and AI. These services are for entertainment and personal reflection. They do not promise an event or outcome and do not replace professional advice.
4. Purchases and entitlements
- Book of You (Full MingShu Book): USD 19.90 during the stated beta offer (displayed reference price USD 29.90), one complete generation, plus one complimentary conversation turn.
- Book of Counsel: USD 14.90, one complete generation, plus one complimentary conversation turn.
- Book of Time: USD 9.90 for one chosen year, one complete generation, plus one complimentary conversation turn. Each year is a separate purchase.
- Conversation pack: USD 9.90 for 50 successful conversation turns. It is independent from the Book purchases.
- Temple reading pack: USD 9.90 for 20 Temple readings. Each account's first reading is free; a reading is deducted only after a successful interpretation. It is independent from the Book and conversation purchases.
- A turn is consumed only when the service records a successful answer under the applicable product contract.
- Prices, taxes, and any offer changes are shown before checkout. The checkout record controls the amount for that order. A promotion code, when offered, applies only to the products, number of uses, and validity period stated for it.
Payment does not itself prove delivery. Entitlements are granted only after Dawnvane verifies Stripe's server notification.
5. One-generation rule
Each paid Book permits one generation. Once generation begins, it cannot be restarted merely to change an input or obtain a different interpretation. If Dawnvane confirms that its own system fault prevented a valid delivery, we may restore the entitlement or provide another appropriate remedy.
6. Acceptable use
You may not probe or bypass access controls, manipulate payment or entitlement records, scrape the service at scale, upload malicious instructions, misuse another person's data, resell access, or use outputs to make high-impact decisions about another person in employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, or legal services.
7. Content and license
You retain rights you already hold in content you submit. Subject to these Terms, Dawnvane grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and use your delivered Books, readings, and conversation answers. Dawnvane and its licensors retain the software, design, brand, system prompts, knowledge organization, and other service materials.
8. Availability, suspension, and changes
We may maintain, change, limit, or discontinue features and may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or a material breach. We will use reasonable efforts to preserve paid, unexpired entitlements or provide a legally required remedy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service and generated content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that an interpretation is factually correct, complete, or suitable for a particular decision. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZNAI, L.L.C. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from reliance on generated content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction.
11. Changes and contact
